CEC annual meeting

Cimarron Electric Cooperative’s annual membership meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

Employees will be in the parking lot beginning at 4 p.m. to begin drive-through registration.

Walk-Tober deadline

The deadline to register for Kingfisher Community Collaborative’s second annual 31-day Walk-Tober challenge is next Friday, Sept. 16.

BizConnect luncheon

“The State of the Schools” is the topic for this month’s BizConnect Luncheon Sept. 21 at the Federated Church in Kingfisher.

Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the event begins at 11:30 a.m. with networking, followed by a catered lunch at noon.

Speakers include local superintendents Kurt Thomas of Chisholm Trail Technology Center and David Glover of Kingfisher Public Schools.

KHS principal John Harris and CTTC small business manager Dr. Daniel Craig also will be on hand.

Benefit golf tourney

Sts. Peter and Paul Knights of Columbus chapter is hosting a benefit four-person scramble beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Kingfisher Golf Course. Lunch is provided.
