Commissioners again table item for KCEM mobile unit
Kingfisher County commissioners tabled a decision on the bids for an emergency management mobile command trailer Monday.
Kingfisher County Emergency Management Director Ryan Deatherage asked the delay to allow arrival of a bid on another part of the package.
Commissioners opened bids for the trailer purchase a week earlier, then tabled action to allow Deatherage to review them.
District 1 Commissioner Jeff Moss delayed discussion and-or action on a request by Cyndi Ice regarding erosion along County Road NS 2860.
In other routine business, the following actions were taken:
• Approval of removing Jason Harris and adding Kimberly Prack as requisitioning officer for The Chisholm, formerly Chisholm Trail Museum;
• Approval of a public access drive for Devon Energy at a point 2,100 feet west of the intersection of N2840 and E870 roads two miles north and 7/8 mile east of Okarche, in District 3;
• Approval of a public access drive for Kevin Bass on N2950 Road in Sec. 8-16-5, which is 10 miles east and one mile north of Kingfisher in District 1;
• Approval of a road crossing for a four-inch pipeline located one mile north of Okarche at U.S. 81, District 3;
• Approval of minutes of the Aug. 4 meeting and associated purchase orders, warrants and payroll;
• Approval of monthly reports for court clerk, treasurer and sheriff’s offi ces;
• Approval of state reimbursements for the offices of district attorney and election board for the month of July, and,
• Approval of appropriations and transfers for the month of July.
Present for the meeting in addition to all commissioners – Anthony Schwarz, District 3, chairman; Moss, District 1, vice chairman, and Michael Sparks, District 2 – included County Clerk Emily Lee as official minute clerk; Deatherage, County Engineer Nik Smith and Kelly Buck, citizen visitor.
