Linda Wilcox of Dover called to correct an identifi cation on a historical photo appearing on Page 1 of Wednesday’s paper.

Wilcox said the man identified standing next to former Sheriff C.J. “Chod” Kelly in a 1963 photo was not George Yeoman, but Frank Ludwig.

Wilcox said George H. Yeoman was her grandfather and the photo was taken at a Holstein field day at Sandy Dale Farm, owned and operated by her family.

“I was 10 at the time and I remember that field day because Gov. Bellmon was there and Chod came out to provide security,” she said.

“Frank Ludwig was our neighbor.”
