County declares multiple items as surplus
Kingfisher County commissioners approved resolutions Monday disposing of unneeded equipment belonging to the sheriff’s office and Kingfisher Fire Department.
The sheriff’s office equipment included radio and computer equipment, which is being replaced with a county-wide communications system.
The Kingfisher Fire Department equipment being disposed of and removed from county property lists, included eight air packs, a Cencom siren system and an ice maker.
In other action commissioners approved publication of county employee salaries and several road crossing permits for pipelines and utilities, including:
• K&J Construction Co. – 60day 12-inch and three-inch water lines, one set at a point two miles south and three miles east of Hennessey, and the second three miles south and six miles east of Hennessey, District 2.
• Blue Star Land Services – permanent 10-inch poly line located seven miles east of Hennessey, District 2.
• Harvey Land – overhead transmission line located four miles north and one mile east of Okarche, District 3.
• White Rose Homes – public service access drive located on N2980 Road in Section 1-15-5, District 1, and,
• BCE Mach III/Ranger Ron Construction - Public Service access drive located 1,800 feet east of the intersection of County Roads 650 and 2910 on south side of the road, District 2.
All Commissioners were present– Heath Dobrovolny, chairman, District 3; Jeff Moss, vice-chairman, District 1, and Ray Alan Shimanek, District 2, along with Deputy County Clerk Emma Lee as minute clerk, and County Engineer Nik Smith.
