County hires OKC firm for bridge’s preliminary work

Kingfisher County commissioners approved a bid of $6,400 from Pinnacle Consulting Management Group to do all title work, right-of-way and other preliminary work on a bridge in District 1.

The bridge is located on NS 2860 Road, just north of EW 840 Road and the approval was made Monday at the commission’s weekly meeting.

They also approved a declaration of surplus for a Savin printer in the county clerk’s office and approved a list of heating-air conditioning equipment and a mower for general government, declared as surplus a week earlier so that it can be disposed of and removed from county property rolls.

A resolution for the Cashion Fire Department authorizing the sale of a Peterbilt Fire Truck and accessories to the Blaine County Fire Department also received approval.

Kingfisher City-County Emergency Management Office received approval to dispose of a Gulf Stream Travel Trailer.

A plat map of the Kingfisher retail addition, requested by the City of Kingfi sher received unanimous approval as did a right-ofway for a Wagon Wheel Wind Project LLC located one mile south and 11 miles east of Hennessey in District 2.

Present for the meeting were Heath Dobrovolny, District 3, chairman and Jeff Moss, District 1, vice chairman, along with County Clerk Jeannie Boevers, official minute clerk, County Engineer Nik Smith, City-County Emergency Management Director Ryan Deatherage and Lisa Powell, representing Invenergy.
