Kingfisher County commissioners approved contracts for annual professional services for three county offices Monday.

Turn Key Health Clinics of Oklahoma City was awarded a $5,122.95 contract to provide health services for the Kingfisher County Jail.

The Oklahoma State University Center for Local Government Technology and Landmark Government Inc. (GSI) of Choteau received approval for a software license and support agreement for the Kingfisher County Assessor’s office for the current fiscal year.

The law firm of Tisdal and O’Hara, Clinton and Oklahoma City, was approved to continue to provide legal services for the county commissioners and the assessor’s office for the 2021-22 fiscal year on an hourly basis as needed.

Rates vary by associate in the firm, including up to $275 for partner, $225 per hour for senior associate, $175 for associate and up to $75 an hour for paralegal/ legal assistant.

One permit for a county road pipeline crossing in District 1 received approval.

K&J Construction received the permit for a line located nine miles east of U.S. 81 on Dover-Crescent Road, then three miles south.

Other events for commissioners included a 911 Emergency Calling Center board meeting at 10 a.m. Monday, an ad hoc ACCO meeting for Commission Chairman Heath Dobrovolny regarding the federal American Rescue Plan, which is providing funds for county governments and a county equalization board meeting on Monday dealing with protested valuations.

A special meeting of the County Engineering District 8 board on which District 2 Commissioner Ray Alan Shimanek represents the county is scheduled Wednesday.

District 1 Commissioner Jeff Moss joined Dobrovolny and Shimanek in making all actions unanimous.

Others present for the meeting were County Clerk Jeannie Boevers, minute clerk, and County Engineer Nik Smith.
