Kingfisher County commissioners approved a heat and air maintenance contract totaling $14,461 with Johnson Controls of Oklahoma City at their meeting.

They designated that the cost be paid from the county half-cent sales tax account. The contract provides for a monthly inspection of equipment and emergency service when required.

A financial statement for the county resale property fund, presented by County Treasurer Robin Rother received approval.

The statement covering a multi-year period totaled $382,706.05 with 359,706.05 maintained for reserves, leaving a balance of $23,000 subject to apportionment.as provided by state statute.

Commissioners also approved payment of $894 for County Officers and Deputies Association (CODA) membership dues and $3,500 dues to Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma (ACCO) as well as monthly reports for the offices of sheriff, county clerk, assessor and health department.

Eight permits for county road pipeline crossings for Ovintiv received approval in District 3.

They are all for 12-inch water lines for a 90-day period as follow:

• Five miles west and one mile north of Kingfisher: • Four miles west and one mile south of Kingfisher;

• One mile west and two miles north of Kingfisher; • Three crossings located four miles west and one mile

• Five miles west and one mile north of Kingfisher:

• Four miles west and one mile south of Kingfisher; • One mile west and two miles north of Kingfisher; south of Kingfisher;

• Three miles south and two miles west of Kingfisher, and ,

• Five miles west and one mile south of Kingfisher, Recoil Oilfield Services, beginning in District 3 and extending east into District 1 for nine miles on the Dover Crescent Road then one mile south also received approval.

Reimbursement forms to the state for the offices of election board and district attorney’s office also received approval.

District 3 Commissioner Heath Dobrovolny reported that construction would begin on a bridge widening project on Countyline Road west of Okarche next week. A contract for the work received approval at an earlier meeting.

All commissioners – Dobrovolny, District 1 Commissioner Jeff Moss and District 2 Commissioner Ray Alan Shimanek were present for the meeting along with County Clerk Jeannie Boevers as minute clerk.
