Community members, friends, and family are encouraged to nominate an eligible candidate to be considered for the 2022 Hennessey High School Hall of Fame.

The nomination deadline is March 1.

Previous nominees, along with current year submissions, will be reviewed and two winners will be selected by the class, said Jill Moery, HHS counselor.

The Hall of Fame is a way of honoring former Hennessey graduates and teachers who have excelled in a career, contributed to society, and been an inspiration to students, alumni, and community residents.

Eligibility requirements: A nominee must have graduated at least five years ago and must have attended HHS at least four semesters, or be a former HPS faculty, staff, or administrator, be retired from the education profession and have been employed by HPS for at least five years.

Nomination forms and eligibility rules are posted and may be printed from the Hennessey Public School Website at www.hps.k12. ok.us

Printed forms may also be picked up at the Hennessey High School office.

Nominations must be postmarked or hand delivered no later than March 1, 2022, to: Hennessey High School, ATTN: Senior Class Sponsor, 707 E. Oklahoma Ave, Hennessey, OK 73742.

The 2022 class will recognize the winners during their graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Eagle Event Center.
