December 2021 Students of the Month announced for Kingfisher High School

December 2021 Students of the Month announced for Kingfisher High School

Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for December 2021.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibili ty, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Lucas Conrady, sophomore Amy Deatherage, junior Natalie Dick and senior Grace-Anne Sinclair.

Conrady is the son of Jeff Conrady and Kim Conrady.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. the KHS Photography class and is a part of the KHS boys basketball team.

Deatherage is the daughter of Ryan and Jill Death-erage.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

She is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

Deatherage is a member of the KHS cheer squad and was part of the 2021 Class 4A academic state champion cheer team. She is also an active member of both Student Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Deatherage is currently serving as sophomore class secretary and is active in the First Baptist Church youth group.

Dick is the daughter of Jeff and Mika Dick.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

She has received the 4.0 Award and is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Dick is a vital member of the KHS softball team where she was named all-conference in 2020 and 2021 and all-district in 2021.

She is also active in Student Council as well as the Students Stepping Up group.

Dick is the junior class secretary and is on the 2022 Junior/Senior Prom Committee. She is also a member of the Federated Church.

Sinclair is the daughter of Mariah Sinclair.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Sinclair has been named a Questbridge National College Match finalist and she was recently named to State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister’s Student Advisory Council.

She has been a KHS Yearbook staff member for three years and is currently serving as yearbook editor.

Sinclair is also an active Kingfisher FFA Chapter member, participating in speech and ag sales.
