DECISION TIME: Runoff Primary

Both Democrats and Republicans will have ballots to vote on at the Tuesday, Aug. 23, runoff primary elections.

Kingfisher County Election Board Secretary Shawna Butts reminded that in-person absentee voting will be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the MAC center at the Kingfi sher County Fairgrounds.

Voting hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

“You do not need to provide an excuse to vote early. Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted through the state election board,” Butts said.

“This is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines.”

Butts reminds voters that early voting is not available at polling locations.
