Dover FFA officers take part in training at Six Flags
Dover FFA chapter visited Six Flags Over Texas for its annual officer retreat on July 23-24. On the first day, Braden Burns, state FFA secretary, was the instructor over the group’s leadership training course. Burns spoke about personal goals and had the officers do team building skills. Afterwards, the group spent the evening swimming, relaxing and playing games. Officers spent the second day experiencing the rides and the food at Six Flags before they traveled back home to Dover. On Monday, July 26, they attended an officer meeting with their ag teacher, Ryan Burns, where they focused on team goals and planned for the upcoming FFA school year.
