Two major county seats were filled during Tuesday’s primary runoff election.

Voters were set to decide who will be the next Kingfisher County sheriff as well as the District 3 commissioner.

Current Undersheriff Jonathan Riedlinger and Hennessey Police Chief Aaron Pitts were on the ballot for sheriff.

Looking to fill the unexpired District 3 commissioner term were Brandi Fuxa and Anthony Schwarz.

The seat opened when Heath Dobrovolny resigned earlier this year to take a job out of state.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, which was after this edition went to print.
