Kingfi sher Elks Lodge awarded more than $8,000 in scholarships recently at the annual Elks Honors Banquet. Lodge offi - cers and members recognized honor graduates and their parents from throughout Kingfi sher County during the banquet held May 8 at the lodge’s south room. The lodge then awarded 12 scholarships worth $700 each to students from Kingfi sher, Okarche and Dover.
