The 54th Ellyson family reunion was held Sunday, July 7, at the Kingfisher Elks Lodge. Hosting this year’s reunion were the Charles and Lee Ellyson families.

The group opened with prayer and had a smorgasbord of food to eat.

The family then played a quiz game: - Who was the oldest and youngest? That would be Wayne Lowe (91) and Ava Mason (14 months).

- Who traveled the farthest?

That was Levi Ellyson, Sandra Jabas and Ellie Tennant, all from Las Vegas, Nev.

- Who was the craziest? Well, that is still up for debate.

The group took family pictures and visited with others.

Fifty-one family members were present for the occasion.

They included: Charles Ellyson, Camie, Kayla and Ava of Bartlesville; Roy and Joann Oliver and Matt of Cashion; Jim Bob Dunn and Braiden and Tylor Garcia of Crescent; Heather Frenchman, Shelbie, David and Tommy of Dewey; BJ and Kari Bender, Hattie and Titan and Robert Ellyson, all of Edmond; Sherry Mason, Evan and Anna Mason and Ava of Guthrie; and Winston and Mary Ellyson of Hennessey.

Attending from Kingfisher were Wayne and Clairetta Lowe, Mike and Donetta Edge, Jimmie and Glenda Ellyson, Glanice McAdoo, and Colt Bragg and Raiden; Levi Ellyson, Sandra Jabas, and Ellie Tennant from Las Vegas; Dan and Waynette Alig, Erin Alig and friend, Mitchell Ludwig and Heath and Rachel Robinson, all of Okarche.

Also attending were Natalie Alig, Karen Lowe, Pamela Newbray and fiance Ricky Magno and Caylin Newbray of Oklahoma City; and Phillip and Darlene Ellyson and Kambree Martin of Purcell.

The Ellysons’ 55th reunion will be held at a date and location to be determined later.

The Walter Ellyson families will host the event.
