Extension Meeting: 40-gallon Challenge

Kingfisher County Extension will present a lesson on the topic of the “40-Gallon Challenge” at an upcoming meeting.

The meeting is planned for 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The lesson will focus on rain barrels and how to make one.

Lindy Peterman, Kingfi sher County FCS Extension educator will be the instructor of the class.

At this class grouping, participants will learn: • The benefits of collecting rainwater

• How to choose the right rain barrel

• Things to consider when harvesting rain This class is free to the public to attend.

The workshop is held at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds in the office trailer next to the Annex building.
