The Kingfisher Friends of the Library group sponsored its first “Gingerbread House Contest” on Friday, Dec. 15, at the Kingfisher Memorial Library.

The purpose of the contest was to promote fun activities for families at the library around the holiday season.

Twenty entries were submitted in the competition and divided into four categories: Grades K-2, Grades 3-6, Grades 7-12, and Adult.

The winners of the contest are as follows:

Adult Category

1st place - Jean Crosswhite

2nd place - Misty Eaton

3rd place - No Entry

Grades 7- 12 Category

1st place - Lillie Hill

2nd place - Alanah Stone

3rd place - Tenley Ludwig

Grades 3-6 Category

1st place - Brooklyn Kale

2nd place - Charlie Petty

3rd place - Fischer Loyall

Grades K-2 Category

1st place - Jaylee Nelson

2nd place - Charlie Petty

3rd place - La Quez Stone
