Kingfisher High School seniors Matthew Mecklenburg and Natalie Garrett are the November 2024 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.

Mecklenburg is the son of Justin and Lyndy Mecklenburg.

He’s active in golf, basketball and was on the state championship team, STUCO and Students Stepping Up.

Mecklenburg is also a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, has a 4.0 GPA and attends First Baptist Church.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in business or finance.

Garrett is the daughter of Greg and Sara Garrett.

She’s active in soccer, STUCO and serves as president, 84 and me and is vice president of the Center of Family Love Teen Board.

Garrett is also a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, on the Middle of a Miracle Teen Board and serves as a religious educa-tion teacher at church.

She plans to attend OSU and pursue a career as a pediatric nurse.
