Kingfisher High School seniors Candi Gutierrez and Kale Westfahl have been announced as the Junior Lions for October 2022.

Gutierrez is the daughter of Maria Gutierrez.

She’s been inducted into National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Gutierrez has also been named the KHS Student of the Month and earned the Academic Award.

She’s a member of the Spanish Club and yearbook staff.

Gutierrez plans to attend a vocational school or college after high school and wants to pursue a career as a state-licensed esthetician.

Westfahl is the son of Angel Bradford and Scott Westfahl.

He was an Oklahoma Boys State delegate representing KHS last summer.

He’s also active in football and takes computer repair and networking classes at Chisholm Trail Technolglaryogy Center.

Westfahl said he wants to go into the workforce after high school while also continuing at CTTC to earn his certifications.
