Have Band Instruments; Will Go Christmas Caroling

Members of the Pride of Cashion band have found a more traditional way to spread Christmas cheer. For the second straight year, band members have been offering traditional caroling services throughout the community. Under the direction of Phillip Snow, the band plays a set of six full-length songs. While some in the community book the band for their own entertainment, others have done so as a gift for families and/or individuals who are homebound. “We’re right there in their front yards bringing joy and a bit of holiday cheer,” said Lyndsay Richards of the Cashion Music Boosters. “It’s literally like something out of a Hallmark movie.” The bookings benefit the band as well. Money raised from the bookings help make purchases for band supplies as well as scholarships for band members.
