Hennessey’s FFA members put skills to use on new sign
Hennessey FFA and Ag Booster Club members recently hosted their annual calf fry and labor auction.
Money raised goes directly towards student travel, contest entry fees, countless classroom and shop supplies/ tools/equipment and senior scholarships.
This year’s event had the largest-ever attendance and had a record number of 33 students participate.
FFA students have unique, and diverse opportunities offered to them at zero cost, and it certainly wouldn’t be possible without the generous support from our community.
Hennessey FFA Builds New Sign
Several years ago, the ag building was painted and the existing sign was never re-mounted.
It was in need of updating anyway, so various FFA members utilized skills learned in designing and operating a CNC plasma cut-ting machine to cut a new sign for the FFA building.
There was also a second sign cut to be displayed at FFA events and/or activities.
