Hennessey Fire Department reports
The following reports were recently filed by members of the Hennessey Fire Department: Mustang Gas Plant – A grass fire near the Hennessey Mustang Gas Plant was reported at 2:22 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 by Clayton Renshaw. It was extinguished in about 40 minutes by firefighters, who also asked dispatch to call OG&E and report blown line fuses. That’s according to the HPD radio log. Three rural brush pumper trucks were sent to the site on E 650 Road about three miles south of Hennessey from S.H. 51 at U.S. 81.
Garage fire – Firefighters responded to a garage on fire call at 6:08 p.m. Sept. 26 at 301 S. Cherokee. Two engines, one brush pumper and command responded. OG&E was notified. At 6:34 a.m. the next day dispatch got a call that the fire had “started back up,” and two brush pumper trucks were sent.
Fire in ditch – A caller reported at 9:52 a.m. Sept. 30 there was a fire in the ditch 1/2-to-3/4 mile east of the golf course on the south side. A brush bumper was sent, but firefighters reported they didn’t find a fire and returned to the station.
Lift Assist – 6:21 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Valley View Apartments. Randy Bohnstedt responded.
Medical Emergency – 6:19 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 6, Life EMS requested first responders for a fall with injuries on East 3rd Street. Responding were Bohnstedt, Tyson Copeland and Corey Trotter.
Medical Emergency – 12:42 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, Life EMS requested first responders to assist on a call on South Main Street.
Capt. Brandon Scott and Bohnstedt responded.
Medical Emergency
Injury – HFD Capt. Brandon Scott responded to a report of a possible “broken hip” at 9:47 a.m. Fri., Oct. 28 on Ricky Rd. HFD Kaleb Hladik also responded a few minutes later.
