You can carve it, paint it, and decorate a pumpkin (just no flames) in Hennessey’s second annual “Let’s line the streets with pumpkins” contest.

The contest, sponsored by the Hennessey Lions Club, is open to all ages.

Entries should be taken to Town Hall between Oct. 23-30 to register.

Pumpkins will be displayed in front of Town Hall during the Trick or Treat at businesses from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Winners will be chosen by Lions Club members Oct. 31.

All pumpkins and prizes may be picked up at Town Hall from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1.
