Hennessey Fire Department recently responded to the following incident:

Grass fire – Firefighters responded with three brush pumper trucks to a grass fire in a ditch at 1:37 p.m. Nov. 26. The fire was located at the four mile black top and State Highway 51 (2830 Road and 640 Road),and reported by Brandon Hiebert. Firefighters called for a police officer to assist with traffic. Firefighters completed the run at 2:03 p.m.
