Hennessey police, fire reports

School Bus Barn – At 4:06 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, Bradi Pospisil reported a fire at the bus barn located on State Highway 51 across from 4-T’s grocery store. A police officer at the scene said the fire appeared to come from the northwest corner of the structure. Five fire vehicles were dispatched to the location. No injuries or damages to vehicles were reported. Cause of fire not listed.

Grass fire – A rural fire truck was dispatched to a grass fire in a ditch 3 1/2 miles west on State Highway 51 and one-half mile south at 4:09 p.m. Aug. 7. The reporting person was John Harak.

Vehicle accident – Life EMS and fire trucks were dispatched to an accident July 26 at 11:45 a.m. on U.S. 81 near Jim’s Welding. Firefighters responding were Dustin Munroe, Kaleb Hladik, Jake Streck, Levi Copeland and at the scene were Kyle Keeton and Terry Berkenbile.

No valid driver license ($265) – Gregorio Saldana Lopez, Enid.
