Hennessey police reports
Hennessey Police Chief Aaron Pitts made the following report for June 2022 to the town board regarding activity by his department:
Traffic stops/citations – 134 traffic stops, 54 citations written, total fines: $17,266.
Calls for service (92) – Agency assists, 4; Alarm calls, 5; Civil, 6; Animal complaints, 15; Motorist Assists, 7; Medical emergencies, 6; Disturbances, 7; Juveniles, 2; Domestic disturbance, 1; Thefts, 2; Trespassing, 1; Open door, 1; Reckless drivers, 6; Suspicious persons/suspicious vehicles, 8; Pursuit, 1; Welfare checks, 10; Fire, 7; Transport, 1, and Lost/ found property, 4.
HPD officers have recently filed the following reports:
Traffic Collision at 2810 Road and State Highway 51 – Call to PD from Oklahoma Highway Patrol via Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office for trooper check at 11:13 a.m. Saturday, July 16. HPD Officer Christian Solis was at scene and OHP requested Solis stay. HFD brush pumper truck responded, left scene at 12:12 p.m.
Unattended death – Life EMS reported an unattended death at its station at 11:04 a.m. Monday, July 11. The person was not breathing when she reached the station. Multiple attempts were made, but they were unable to resuscitate her, the report shows. The state Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted and police were told to release the body to an Enid funeral home.
Jail transports – Timothy James Soto, 46, OKC, was transferred from the Garfield County Jail to the Hennessey Jail July 13 at 6:15 p.m.; Sebastian Corral, 21, Hennessey, was transported to the Garfield County Jail on an arrest warrant at about 10 a.m. July 17.
