Hinson speaks at Rotary Club

Hinson speaks at Rotary Club

Barry Hinson, associate athletic director at Oklahoma State University, center, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club recently. Hinson told a packed house of Rotarians and guests that education was “the poor man’s savior” and he felt quality education for the youth of America was the only way to set the course of the nation right again. Hinson, who travels across the state for speaking engagements, commented that he felt there are four keys to leadership: 1. Always learn and use people’s names in conversation; 2. Always be enthusiastic; 3. Avoid talking politics; and 4. Avoid being judgmental. Hinson was introduced by John Johnson, his longtime friend, left. Pictured right is Jeff Johnson, also a Rotarian.
