Lomega’s drive-through Living Christmas Pageant, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 19, has become a seasonal favorite.

Hosted at The Cedar Gate, 2.25 miles north of S.H. 33 on the Loyal-Calumet blacktop, the event includes live actors and animals playing out the biblical nativity scenes.

Crafts, live music, Christmas cookies and family photos also are part of the fun.

Longest Night

For people struggling with emotional pain this season, Kingfisher First United Methodist Church is hosting a Longest Night service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The service offers a space to acknowledge pain but also celebrate the light that Christ brings to dispel the darkness, Rev. Dr. Jennifer Long said.
