You can get a taste of two holidays this week, beginning with Kingfisher’s Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner, sponsored by God’s Covenant Church, the Kingfisher Ministerial Alliance and the Elk’s Lodge, scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the South Room of the lodge. Then fire up your Christmas spirit Friday night with the downtown Kingfisher Mistletoe Shop & Hop. Merchants will be open late for Pink Friday shopping bargains and Santa and his reindeer will park at Block 35, along with food trucks from 5-8 p.m. The Community Christmas Tree will be lit outside the Chamber office, 110 E. Broadway at 6 p.m., with a community choir.
