HONORING OUR VETERANS - 2024
Several county schools held Veterans Day assemblies last Monday. A special tradition at the Okarche assembly (top photo) is the Sisterhood of Quilters presenting veterans there with handmade quilts. Lt. Col. Matt Flaherty of the United States Air Force (top photo on right) was the guest speaker at the Kingfisher High School assembly. It was presented by the KHS Student Council as well as Oklahoma Boys State and Girls State delegates.
