The artistic talents of the county’s youth will be on full display this week.

The 73 ^rd annual Kingfisher County Fine Arts Festival takes place Tuesday and Wednesday in Kingfisher, after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic.

Piano performances will be held Tuesday at Kingfisher Heritage auditorium beginning at 9 a.m.

Poetry will also be taking place at Kingfisher First Baptist Church.

The morning session begins at 9 a.m. and the second session is at 1 p.m.

Mixed chorus performances will be held at Heritage Gymnasium with sessions beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Hennessey Elementary School music teacher, Rachel Franks, will direct the morning session and Okarche Elementary School music teacher, Stephanie Palmer will be leading the afternoon choruses.

Artwork by county students will also be on display for viewing at the Heritage gym.
