Keeping that Bunny Hopping

Two egg hunts in 1 day makes for 1 harried hare

Even before his worldwide deliveries on Sunday, the Easter Bunny was scheduled for guest appearances at two back-to-back Kingfisher County egg hunts, involving hundreds of children and thousands of eggs on Saturday. If you’re reading this edition Friday night or Saturday morning, you still have time to make one or both of these popular events. Mr. Bunny starts his day at 11 a.m. at Kingfisher, left, where children ages 2-10 will gather at the practice field between Kingfisher Heritage School and the middle school to gather eggs and more than 100 prizes. Then he’ll barely have time to change his suit and fluff up his fur before hopping over to Hennessey, right, where another hunt starts promptly at noon at Bull Foot Park for ages 1-8 and up. With Mr. Bunny is Melissa Macy at Hennessey Town Hall, one of the volunteers who helped fill the eggs. [Photos Provided]
