Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for April 2022.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Raegan Snider, sophomore Remington Boutwell, junior Kyle Borelli and senior Katon Lunsford.

Snider is the daughter of Brent and Stephanie Snider.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Snider is a member of the KHS girls basketball team that reached the Class 4A state quarterfinals this season.

She is also a member of the KHS girls golf team. Snider was top-10 in the conference golf tournament, recently won medalist honors at a Class 4A regional and qualified for the 4A state tournament.

She is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Council.

Boutwell is the daughter of Dana Boutwell and the late Donovan Boutwell.

She is a member of both the Oklahoma Honor Society and the National Honor Society. She has received the 4.0 Award and is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Boutwell is an active member of FCCLA and Student Council.

She plays soccer for KHS and volunteers at the Compassion Clinic.

Borelli is the son of Greg and Vaynna Borelli.

He is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Borelli is active in Student Council and is a member of both the KHS football and track teams.

Lunsford is the daughter of Kenny and Meggan Lunsford.

She has recently been named an Academic All-State recipient and is a member of the National Honor Society where she serves as president.

Lunsford is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter, where she currently serves as chapter president.

She was also part of the national semifinalist parliamentary procedure team.

Lunsford is a vital member of the KHS track and cross country teams.

She was a part of the regional and state champion cross country team in 2018 and the regional champion team in 2021.

She is currently serving as the senior class president while also serving on the Center of Family Love Teen Board and is a member of the Federated Church.
