KHS announces December Students of the Month
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for December 2023.
Students are chosen based on several characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more. Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Taitym Walker, sophomore Raiden Clarke, junior Lauren Dobrovolny and senior Chloe Blair.
Walker is the daughter of Charles and Julie Walker.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.
This year, Walker was selected as the freshman class queen.
She is a member of the KHS girls cross country team that was regional champion as well as Class 4A academic state champions this year.
She is also a member of the KHS girls basketball team, girls soccer team and girls track team.
Walker was a flag girl for the high school cheer squad’s GameDay cheer routine. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Clarke is the son of Dustin and Megan Nunnelly.
He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
Clarke is a member of the KHS Robotics Club and the academic team.
Dobrovolny is the daughter of Heath and Kristen Dobrovolny.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
Dobrovolny is also a member of the Pride of Kingfisher band.
Blair is the daughter of David and Shelley Blair.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
She is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter where she currently serves as chapter secretary.
Blair was an FFA Washington Leadership Conference participant last summer.
She was a part of the state champion conduct of chapter meetings team and the state champion parliamentary procedure team.
Blair has been recognized as a Junior Lion.
She is a member of the KHS girls basketball team and is active in Students Stepping Up, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the First Baptist Church.
