KHS announces October Students of the Month
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for October 2025.
Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.
Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Easton Price, sophomore Finley Harrison, junior Jagger Braun and senior Wyatt Long.
Price is the son of Wes and Trisha Price.
He is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.
He is involved in the KHS aviation program as well as Student Council, serving as a freshman class representative, and Business Professionals of America.
Price is also active in the Lifeway Church of Kingfisher.
Harrison is the son of Jared and Jessica Harrison.
He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the academic team that recently qualified for the area tournament.
He is also an active member of the Technology Student Association and he’s a part of the aviation team and robotics teams.
In robotics, Harrison and his teammate captured first place at the Oklahoma TSA high school robotics competition. This earned them a spot at nationals in Nashville, Tenn., where they competed and placed in the top 16 and a spot in the semifinal round.
Harrison is also active in the First United Methodist Church youth group.
Braun is the son of Lonnie and Blair Braun.
He has been listed on both the Superintendent’s and Principal’s honor rolls.
He is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society and he has received the 4.0 Award.
Braun is a member of the KHS baseball team. He is also involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council and is currently serving as the junior class president.
Long is the son of Aaron and Jannason Long.
He attended Oklahoma Boys State last summer and received the Journalism Award there.
Long is a member of the KHS Photography staff where he is currently serving as chief photographer. He has won numerous contest awards with his photos and he covers many events and activities at KHS.
He is a member of the KHS boys basketball, cross country and track teams.
Long is an active member of the Kingfisher First Baptist Church youth worship team and leadership team. He also leads a men’s Bible study called “Salt and Light.”
