Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for September 2021.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Mia Hartman, sophomore Jorden Beck, junior Merrin Evans and senior Chase Davis.

Hartman is the daughter of Chad and Leah Hartman.

She is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter where she was a member of the 2021 state champion conduct of chapter meetings team that will compete at nationals later this month.

Hartman is on the KHS cheer squad that was recently named Class 4A academic state champions. She is also a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society as well as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council and the Kingfisher FBC youth group.

Beck is the son of Anthony and Krystal Beck.

He is on the KHS academic team and is an active member of both National Honor Society and Student Council.

Beck currently serves as sophomore class president. He is also a member of the KHS baseball team.

Evans is the daughter of Justin and Alicia Evans.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society. She has also received the 4.0 Award.

Evans is a member of both the KHS fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball teams and she is a manager for the KHS girls basketball team.

She is a member of FCA and the Kingfisher FBC youth group.

Davis is the son of Kelly and Lindsay Kopp and Brandon and Aly Davis.

He is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the FCA.

He plays soccer and basketball for KHS.
