Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for January 2024.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Jagger Braun, sophomore Gracie Fuksa, junior Kadyn Daugherty and senior Hannah Click.

Braun is the son of Lonnie and Blair Braun.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is currently serving as the freshman class president.

Braun is a student in the aviation program and is a member of the KHS boys basketball and baseball teams.

He is also involved in Student Council and FOR (Friends of Rachel/Rachel’s Challenge).

Fuksa is the daughter of Sheila Fuksa.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Fuksa is active in the Pride of Kingfisher marching band and jazz band.

Last year, she placed fifth in Spanish I at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Interscholastic Meet. She is also a KHS wrestling manager and is currently serving as an intern for All About Kingfi sher.

Daugherty is the daughter of Derek and Micah Daugherty. She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Daugherty is serving as the junior class vice president this year.

She is a member of the KHS girls golf team and was a part of the 2023 4A girls academic state champion team.

Daugherty is also a member of the KHS girls tennis team and is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Council.

Click is the daughter of Adam and Leslie Click.

She is a member of the KHS girls soccer team, KHS choir and she participates in drama.
