KHS announces Students of the Month
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for September 2024.
Students are chosen based on several characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.
Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Callie Blair, sophomore Addison Price, junior Diego Perez and senior Emiley Watkins.
Blair is the daughter of David and Shelley Blair.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and was named the Eighth Grade Student of the Year last year.
Blair is a member of both the KHS softball team and girls basketball teams. She is a member of the Center of Family Love Teen Board and is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Price is the daughter of Wes and Trisha Price.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
As a freshman, Price received the 4.0 Award as well as subject area awards for Algebra I and Spanish I.
She is a member of the KHS girls track team, the 84 and Me Kindness Group, The Lord Listens prayer group and she participates in dance.
Perez is the son of Leonardo Arreguin and Maria Perez.
He is a member of the KHS boys wrestling team.
He attends Chisholm Trail Technology Center and is training in the welding program.
Watkins is the daughter of Scott and Shelly Watkins.
She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.
Watkins is also a member of the National Honor Society where she is currently serving as president, and Student Council for which she is currently serving as vice president.
She has received the 4.0 Award and subject area awards for Spanish II, English II and Biology.
Watkins is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Kingfisher First Baptist Church Youth Group.
