Southwestern Oklahoma State University celebrated its homecoming Oct. 30, and winners of the various competitions have been announced by the university.

That included a competition that featured 18 bands from numerous area high schools marching in the homecoming parade.

Kingfisher High School earned second place in the marching band competition among Class 4A schools.

Elk City took first place and Anadarko was third.
