Kingfisher High School students and football fans will celebrate homecoming on Friday, beginning with a pep assembly at 2:40 p.m. and ending with the homecoming game at 7 p.m. against Bridge Creek.

The assembly is open to the public and will include recognition of royalty candidates for football, basketball, wrestling, school organizations and classes.

The traditional downtown homecoming parade begins at 4 p.m., proceeding south from Walter Building Center.

The parade will include Yellow-jacket football teams, the Pride of Kingfisher marching band, KHS royalty and more.

The football homecoming coronation is scheduled for a pre-game ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at the football field.
