A new tradition started last week at Kingfisher High School. The student body gathered around the flag plaza outside the front doors of KHS for a flag raising ceremony on Aug. 19 to commemorate the start of a new school year. Members of the KHS band played the National Anthem as well as the school’s fight song while Oklahoma Boys State delegates from Kingfisher had the honors of raising the flags.
