Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for December 2024.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Ela Hartman, sophomore Taitym Walker, junior Reese Roof and senior Karen Munoz.

Hartman is the daughter of Chad and Leah Hartman.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Hartman is a member of the KHS girls basketball team and the girls track team. She is active in Student Council, serving as a freshman class representative, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Walker is the daughter of Charles and Julie Walker.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society and she has received the 4.0 Award.

Walker is a member of the KHS girls basketball team and the girls track team. She is also active in Student Council and is a member of the KHS Yearbook staff.

Roof is the daughter of Reagan and Lindsay Roof.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Roof is a member of the KHS girls basketball team, girls track team and softball team that was named Class 4A academic state champion earlier this year.

She was also a member of the academic state champion track team last year in Weatherford.

Roof is actively involved in Student Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Muñoz is the daughter of Juan and Lupita Munoz.

She is a member of the KHS Photography staff and the KHS girls soccer team.

Muñoz is also a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
