Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for March 2023.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness, and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Jhett Birdwell, sophomore Lucas Conrady, junior Hannah Click and senior Xavier Ridenour.

Birdwell is the son of Joel and Bridget Birdwell.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.

He is a member of the KHS boys basketball team that was a 2023 state semifinalist and Class 4A academic state champions.

Birdwell is also a member of the KHS football team as well as an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter.

Conrady is the son of Jeff Conrady and Kim Conrady.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Conrady is a member of KHS Photography.

He is a member of the KHS boys basketball team that was a 2023 State semifi nalist and Class 4A academic state champion. He is also a member of the KHS boys tennis team.

Click is the daughter of Adam and Leslie Click.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

She is active in the KHS choir that has won numerous awards as well as the KHS Pride of Kingfisher band.

Click is a member of the KHS girls soccer team and she participates in drama.

She is a member of the Federated Church.

Ridenour is the son of Travis and Angelita Ridenour.

He is a member of the National Honor Society and is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

He is active in Student Council and is currently serving as vice president.

He is a member of the KHS boys basketball team that was two-time Class 4A state champion and academic state champions.

He has been selected twice for basketball all-conference.

Recently, Ridenour was named the OBCA District 1 Player of the Year and he earned basketball All-State.

He is also a member of both the KHS tennis and KHS track teams.

This year he was crowned homecoming basketball king and prom king.

He is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Students Stepping Up and Kingfisher First Baptist Church Youth Group.
