KHS names November Students of the Month

Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for November 2023.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Mattie Slezickey, sophomore Harper Evans, junior Colton Livingston and senior Jorden Beck.

Slezickey is the daughter of Dave and Melissa Slezickey.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Slezickey is a member of the KHS girls softball team, girls basketball team and track team.

She is involved in Student Council and the Fel-lowship of Christian Athletes.

Evans is the daughter of Justin and Alicia Evans.

She is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and has received the 4.0 Award and an Academic Award.

Evans is a member of KHS girls cross country team that was 2023 regional champion and Class 4A academic state champion.

She is also a member of the KHS girls soccer team and track team.

Evans is active in Student Council and she is currently a STUCO representative for the sophomore class. She is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Kingfisher First Baptist Church youth group.

Livingston is the son of Larry Livingston and Kristy Scroggins.

He is a member of the both National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society. He has received the Academic Award and is a member of the KHS academic team.

Livingston is a member of the Pride of Kingfisher Band where he is serving this year as drum major. He has also been selected to the Red Carpet Honor Band for five straight years.

Beck is the son of Anthony and Krystal Beck.

He is a member of both the National Honor Society, where he is currently serving as president, and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Beck was recently named a Questbridge National College Match Scholar and will be attending Notre Dame next fall.

Beck is a member of the KHS academic team, serving this year as captain, and he was named to the Central Oklahoma All-Conference team.

He is currently serving as senior class vice president and is involved in Student Council, Students Stepping Up and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
