KHS names Students of the Month
Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for December 2025. Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.
Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Drew Snider, sophomore Maddie Young, junior Caleb Johnson and senior Sara Tellez.
Snider is the son of Brent and Steph Snider. He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. He is a member of the KHS football team and the KHS baseball team.
Young is the daughter of Jeremy and Michelle Young. She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society. Young has also received the 4.0 Award. She is a member of the KHS cheer team and was part of both the 2025 state qualifying competitive cheer team and Game Day cheer team.
Johnson is the son of Jeff and Amy Johnson. He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society. He has received the 4.0 Award. Johnson is a member of the Pride of Kingfisher band, the KHS Photography staff and he is a helper at the STARS after-school program.
Tellez is the daughter of Emir Tellez and Ariana Blanco. She is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll. Tellez is also a member of the KHS Photography staff and has earned numerous awards at photography contests, including third place in the NWOSU contest. She also enjoys being involved in many community service projects.
