Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for November 2021.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Natalie Garrett, sophomore Peyton Walker, junior Caden Kitchens and senior Slade Snodgrass.

Garrett is the daughter of Greg and Sara Garrett.

She is active in the Kingfisher FFA chapter where she was a member of the state champion and national semifinalist Conduct of Chapter Meetings team.

Garrett was named September FFA Member of the Month.

She is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. She is active in Student Council and runs track and cross country at KHS.

Garrett is also active in the Sts. Peter and Paul youth group.

Walker is the daughter of Charles and Julie Walker.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Walker is currently serving as the sophomore class vice president.

She plays basketball and soccer for KHS and is a member of the KHS Yearbook staff.

Walker is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council and Students Stepping Up.

Kitchens is the son of Stacy and Coni Kitchens.

He is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and has received the 4.0 Award. He is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter where he currently serves as chaplain.

Kitchens was a member of the national finalist Conduct of Chapter Meetings team.

He plays basketball for KHS and was a member of the 2021 Class 4A state champion and academic state champion team.

He is also active in the Kingfisher FBC Youth Group.

Snodgrass is the son of Mark and Angie Snodgrass.

He is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and has received the 4.0 Award as well as the Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award.

Snodgrass plays both football and baseball for KHS.

He recently earned 3A-1 all-district honors in football.

Snodgrass is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Council.
