Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for September 2022.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Gracie Rowan, sophomore Hailey Bieren, junior Remington Boutwell and senior Caden Kitchens.

Rowan is the daughter of Jeremy and Melinda Rowan.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Rowan is on the KHS softball and track teams. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as the First Baptist Church and the Jesus Club.

Bieren is the daughter of Mitchel and Stephanie Bieren.

She is active in the Kingfi sher FFA Chapter where she currently serves as chapter parliamentarian.

She is a member of the milk and quality products team that placed second at state last year. Bieren is a member of the livestock show team, exhibiting pigs and market broilers.

She is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll, is active in Student Council and is sophomore class representative. First Baptist Church.

Boutwell is the daughter of Dana Boutwell and the late Donovan Boutwell.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and was also named Student of the Month her freshman and sophomore years.

Boutwell is active in Student Council and volunteers at the Compassion Clinic. She attends Limitless Church and is a current participant in the Distinguished Young Woman program.

Kitchens is the son of Stacy and Coni Kitchens.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a four-year member of both the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Kitchens is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter where he currently serves as chapter secretary. He is a member of the state championship meats judging team that will compete at nationals later this month.

Kitchens was also the high individual in the 2022 state meat judging contest.

He plays basketball for KHS and was on the 2021 and 2022 state championship teams.

Kitchens is also on the KHS tennis team and he qualified for state in 2021 and 2022. He attends the Kingfisher First Baptist Church.
