Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for January 2025.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Kendall Farrar, sophomore Molly Weber, junior Abby Wallace and senior Addison Willson.

Farrar is the daughter of Josh and Mellissa Farrar and Jerod and Keri Johnston.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Farrar is a member of both the KHS girls basketball team and the KHS softball team.

This past fall, she was named District 4A-1 honorable mention in softball and also was the Extra Innings Hitter of the Week.

Through her travel softball team endeavors, Farrar has been named the 2024 National Tournament MVP and the 2022 National Tournament Offensive Player of the Year.

Weber is the daughter of Levi Weber and Felicia Weber.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Weber has received the 4.0 Award.

She is a member of the Kingfisher Girls soccer team, the KHS yearbook staff and Student Council, where she serves as a sophomore class representative.

Wallace is the daughter of Jaryn Bliss.

She is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

She is an active member of the KHS Photography staff.

She also participates in church and book club.

Willson is the daughter of Darrel and Amy Wood.

She received the Young Writers Creativity Award in 2024.

She is a member of the KHS softball team where she earned many honors, including all-district team, all-region utility player and was a member of the 2024 academic state champion team.

Willson also plays travel softball and was named MVP of a tournament.

She participated in the Distinguished Young Woman program, earning two scholarships.

Willson is also active in FCCLA, Student Council, NSHSS and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She is a member of the First Baptist student leadership team, has been a Vacation Bible School volunteer and also serves on the First Baptist worship team.
