Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for February 2025.

Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.

Selected by the faculty and staff were freshman Scott Schellenberg, sophomore Caroline Swafford, junior Harper Evans and senior Joaquin Wallace.

Schellenberg is the son of Isaac and Christy Schellenberg.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Schellenberg is a member of the Technology Student Association and also participates in robotics at KHS.

Swafford is the daughter of Deborah McIntosh.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society and has received the 4.0 Award.

Swafford is an active member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter where she currently serves as student advisor.

She has been selected for both the State FFA Chorus as well as the National FFA Chorus.

Swafford is a member of the KHS choir and is a Sunday School teacher at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Evans is the daughter of Justin and Alicia Evans.

She is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society and has received the 4.0 Award.

Evans is active in Student Council, where she currently serves as the homecoming/ STING co-chairman. She is also active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a member of the Center of Family Love Teen Board.

Evans is a member of the KHS girls cross country team and was part of the two academic state champion teams.

She is also a member of both the KHS girls track team and KHS soccer team.

Evans is an active member of the Kingfisher First Baptist Church and the youth group there.

Wallace is the son of Carl and Francis Wallace.

He is listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Wallace is also a member of the KHS boys soccer team.
