KHS seniors are guests at Rotary Club meeting
Five Kingfisher High School seniors last week attended the Rotary Club meeting as guests of the civic group.
Attending were Braxton Shellstrom, Luie Torres, Cristopher Orozco, Uriel DeLaTorre and Cesar Rodriguez.
Shellstrom is the son of Erin and Mike Delozier and Brian Shellstrom.
He has been active in wrestling, soccer and football at KHS.
He also attends welding classes at Chisholm Trail Technology Center and has earned his 6G certification.
Shellstrom said he wants to enter the workforce after high school, possibly in the field of wind power.
Torres is the son of Jessica and Jorge Torres.
He participates in high school rodeo and plays baseball.
Torres won the Young Writers Award and is currently taking firefighter courses through KHS.
He plans to continue firefi ghter training after high school and also has plans to become a paramedic.
Orozco is the son of Manuela and Gerardo Orozco.
He’s active in soccer and also attends welding classes at CTTC.
Orozco has earned his 6G certification and wants to enter the workforce as a welder after high school.
DeLaTorre is the son of Maria and Antonio DeLa-Torre.
He’s active in soccer, cross country and wrestling.
DeLaTorre is a member of Students Stepping Up and also earned perfect attendance.
He plans to earn his HVAC certification after high school and also venture into real estate.
Rodriguez is the son of Nester and Gisela Rodriguez.
