Kingfisher High School seniors Coleman Gilles and Kate Henderson are the March 2024 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Gilles is the son of Brian and Tiffany Gilles.

He’s active in basketball, baseball, cross country, tennis, STUCO, Students Stepping Up, served as junior and senior class president and is on the yearbook staff.

Gilles has also been listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, is a member of the National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society and Business Professionals of America and has received the ACT Meritorius Award and Young Writers Anthology award.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in history, later pursuing a career as an attorney.

Henderson is the daughter of Randy and Sarah Henderson.

She’s active in STUCO, Students Stepping Up, serving as president, was freshmen class vicepresident, and is a member of the National Honor Society, serving as historian, and the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Henderson is also listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, has received the 4.0 Award, English II and Spanish II awards and is involved in Limitless Church.

She plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College in Stillwater and major in nursing.
